• 1712 Jan 12. Peter the Great: the first Russian military Engineering School (Moscow)

• 1719 March 25: as the Order of Emperor the Engineering School  moved to Saint Petersburg

• 1724: the present location at Petrovka (Jdanovka) river

• 1733- 1758: the first Russian Military Engineering School

• 1758 May 12:The unite of the Artillery + Engineer Dvorianskaya School. Chief: captain-engineer M.I.Mordvinov

• 1761: Mikhail I.Kutuzoff graduated the united Artillery and Engineering School

• 1775: Open the section: Greek Gymnasium"

• 1792: The "Greek Dymnasium" renamed to "Foreigner School" or "Greek Cadet School" (closed by Pavel 1 in 1796)

• 1797: A.D.Zasiadko (the general, the founder of the Rocket business in Russia)

• 1800: The renaming: 2nd Cadet School (Kadetsky Korpus)

• 1805: The status as the High military School

• 1807 March 14: Open the section: "Volunteer Corps"

• 1808: Volunteer Corp renamed to the  Dvoriansky regiment

• 1832: The Dvoriansky regiment became the independent military school (no part of 2d Cadet School)

• 1864: 2nd military gymnasium

• 1882: 2nd Cadet School
